There are two Mini-Gatherings for 2013/2014: Saturday November 16 and Saturday February 15. Competitors will play two events on each day. Registration is available until one week before each event.
The purpose of the Mini-Gatherings: To provide amateur players with regular opportunities to test the preparedness of their new competition tunes for the outdoor season.
The Knockout events will occur on separate days. Saturday November 9, 2013, and Saturday February 8, 2014, at 7:00 pm
Order Of Play NOTE: For Mini-Gatherings, entries received by 11:59pm September 29, 2013, will be entered into a random draw for order of play. Entries received after this date and time, order of play is first to enter, last to play. For the Piping and Side Drumming Knockouts first round, draws for the order of play will be done on October 26 and January 25, respectively. Draws for the Knockouts semi-final round and the final will be done at the conclusion of the first and semi-final rounds, respectively. .
- The Grade 1 Piping and Side Drumming competitors with the highest “Super Aggregate” score from the Mini-Gatherings and Annual Gathering combined will receive up to a maximum of $600 CDN toward an airline ticket to Glasgow, Scotland, Kansas City, MO or Hamilton, ON to compete in the World Solo Drumming Championship, Midwest Highland Arts Fund Winter Storm or George Sherriff Amateur Invitational.

Online Mini-Gathering and Knockout Entry Choose Events after creating account or logging in
- Mini-Gathering events (Nov 16 & Feb 15) are at the Pitt River Middle School, Port Coquitlam, BC.
- Knockout first round (Nov 10) and semi-final rounds (Feb 8) are at the Scottish Cultural Centre, Vancouver, BC
- The first round of the Professional Piping Knockouts will be held in November. ALL piping competitors will play here in order to advance to the semi-final in February. The first round of the Professional Drumming Knockouts will be held in February. ALL competitors will compete here to advance to final at the BCPA Annual Dinner on March 9th.
