Mini Gatherings

There are two Mini-Gatherings for 2012/2013: November 3, 2012 and February 16, 2013. Competitors will play two events on each day.

These changes were made in 2011 to increase the number of competitors, improve convenience for parents and competitors by reducing the number of days at these competitions, while maintaining the purpose of the Mini-Gatherings: To provide amateur players with regular opportunities to test the preparedness of their new competition tunes for the outdoor season.

The Knockout events will occur on separate days in part because attending the mini-gathering attendees and then the knockouts later in the evening made it too long of a day for some competitors. We highly encourage all members to attend the Knockouts on November 10th, February 9th, and the final round at the Annual Dinner Saturday, March 9th.

Order Of Play NOTE: Mini-Gathering entries received between September 15th and 11:59 pm on September 22nd, 2012 will be entered into a random draw for order of play. Entries received after this date and time, order of play is first to enter, last to play.  This is a trial run and applies only to the mini-gatherings this year. This format change will be evaluated based on your feedback in the next survey following the mini-gatherings.

Please carefully read the entry form for rules and music requirements
