What: The BC Pipers Association Annual Gathering (also known as the “Indoor Meet”) is held on the Friday and Saturday of the Easter long weekend. The Friday features solo piobaireachd and Open drumming competitions, as well as a drumming workshop. Saturday events are the remaining solo events, a full band competition, and the Ceilidh afterward including some performances by the invited adjudicators.

2017 Annual Gathering
The 2017 BCPA Annual Gathering will be held on Friday and Saturday April 14 & 15, 2017 at the same venue as in 2016 namely, Clayton Heights Secondary School, 7003 188 Street, Surrey, BC, V4N 3G6.
The 2017 Annual Gathering online entry form is CLOSED however “early bird” priced tickets are available for purchase until April 10 on the Events page here.
Regular admission ticket prices are: Friday pass $5, Saturday pass $10, Weekend Pass $12, Band Contest Reserved Seat $10. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for admission purchases and purchases at the Ceilidh.
Online Entries Only
Please note that all competition entries and their payments shall be done online for all competitions administered, managed and run by BCPA.
Hardcopy entry forms will not be offered and no cheques will be accepted as payment for entry fees.
Several bank gift cards, in Canada and the US, can be accepted by the BCPA’s online entry system. This method may be used by people who do not want to use their personal credit cards for online transactions and by pipe bands. A partial list of these bank gift cards is contained in the Information Document associated with the Annual Gathering online entry form.

2017 Interactive Demonstrations of Piping and Drumming
The 2017 Annual Gathering will include interactive demonstrations of piping and drumming for youth and adults interested in learning the instruments on the Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm. A great way to become engaged in a very fulfilling passion.
2017 Performance Band Workshop
As in 2016, the 2017 Annual Gathering will include a workshop for performance bands (non-competing bands) on the Saturday from 12 to 2 pm. Further details are in the Annual Gathering Information Guide here.
2017 All Instruments Session
As in 2016, the 2017 Annual Gathering will include a jam session for pipers and drummers to perform pipe tunes on their instruments other pipe band instruments (e.g. small pipes, uilleann pipes, whistles, bodhrans, guitars, etc) on the Saturday from 12:15 to 1:45 pm. 2017 Online Entry and Admission Ticket Ordering

Online registration will be active until the end of day Friday 3/24/2017. This year, admission is to the venue and tickets will be available for pre-purchase for the Friday, Saturday, or Weekend Pass (Friday & Saturday). Saturday and Weekend Pass tickets also provide admission to the Band Contest and Ceilidh. Ticket pre-purchase will be available only until April 10 after which tickets will be available at the door for $2 more. There will also be an option to pre-purchase a Band Contest Reserved Seat (there is a maximum number of these seats available). The tickets purchase options are near the bottom of the page once you provide an email to register.
Submit tunes during registration if required. After registration, email your tune names, if required, to firstname.lastname@example.org
All events can be purchased online, including admission tickets.
Note: to add multiple competitors on a single registration, use the “add guest” button near the bottom. More info is in the events help page on the registration site if needed.
