A few of the Grand Aggregate Trophies

November 13, 1999, at the United Scottish Cultural Centre in Vancouver,  the 1999 BCPA Grand Aggregate  winners were presented some very special trophies.  The St. Andrews & Caledonian Society of Vancouver generously offered piping and pipe band trophies from their Highland Games for presentation as Grand Aggregate awards.   (Photo Album 8 will show photos of each winner and their award.)  All of the trophies are impressive, but a few stand out as historic (and significant) works of art.

Sadly, I realize these photos do not do justice to the trophies, and it is therefore my plan to get better photos when opportunity allows. Also, I will add written details regarding the trophies and their history, as I get them.
