What:
The Knockout competitions are a series of events whereby professional pipers and drummers compete and
advance to the next round or get "knocked out". There are 3 rounds, usually about 16 to
20 pipers starting in the first round, 8 advancing to the second round and 4 to the final round.
This event started as a means to draw the membership out to the AGM. Drumming KO schedules are
dependent on the number of entries received.
