The BC Pipers' Association will be holding a seminar for parents and
children new to piping and drumming and/or who are just starting to
compete. This seminar will be held from 11am to 12pm on February 11, 2012
at Douglas College (700 Royal Ave) in New Westminster, BC - Room 2201.
Topics covered will include insight into preparing for competitions, the
services provided by the BCPA such as bursaries and the ability to earn
high school credits, and how to get the most out of your piping/drumming
experience. It will also allow the opportunity to ask questions. We hope
to see many new pipers and drummers along with their parents.
BCPA Mini-Gathering and Pro Knockout reminder and Update

A reminder that the final Mini-Gatherings and Knockout competitions will be held on February 11, 2012. Registration for the Mini-Gathering is available here. Deadline for registration is January 27th. We hope to see everyone there!

Pipes|Drums magazine asked “a panel of 30 expert and informed pipers and drummers around the world for their votes across several categories for the people, bands and products that made the most news, the biggest impact and the best contributions in the piping and drumming world in 2011.”
